Student Scholarship Information 

The scholarship provides free registration. Please do not register for the conference until you've received notice about your scholarship application. Read through all this information first and then you'll find the link to the application at the end. Students who are enrolled in medical schools in these states are eligible for general scholarships: IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI.

We encourage you to first check with your school's department of family medicine to ask if they can fund your $50 registration fee. These schools or institutions have pledged support for students who apply for scholarships from these medical schools:

  • Indiana Academy of Family Physicians will provide scholarships for Indiana University and Marian University medical students
  • South Dakota Academy of Family Physicians will support their student members. 
  • Rosalind Franklin University/Chicago Medical School (limited to 20 students)
  • Southern Illinois University for all SIU students
  • University of Illinois at Chicago
  • University of Illinois at Rockford
  • Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians will support a limited number of students from Minnesota Medical Schools to be determined.
  • University of Wisconsin students should not apply for a scholarship, but will be reimbursed by the University, if they register online and meet all the conditions required by UW.

Students who are enrolled in medical schools in these states are eligible for general scholarships: IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI.  All other students interested in Midwest family medicine careers are welcome to register for the conference at the regular student rate of $50. Scholarship applications deadline was September 27th

Applicants will be notified via e-mail and will have one week to accept and agree to the terms of the scholarship, or the scholarship will be given to the next student on the waiting list. All students who are offered a scholarship will be required to register online as directed.
