2024 Pre-Conference Workshop

Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) training provides a complementary care opportunity to reduce the need for prescription medication and offer less invasive method of intervention to manage acute and chronic pain regardless of cause, duration, or severity. It can be utilized in the inpatient setting, in outpatient clinics, in the emergency department, and in deployed and battlefield environments. .

The objectives of the presentation are as follows:
1. Identify patients that could benefit from Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA)
2. Articulate point locations for BFA
3. Demonstrate insertion of BFA treatment in an individual
